Install the Android APK

Use an Android device running version 7.0 or later. APK files do not install on iPhone or iPad; use the web app instructions below instead.

  1. Tap Download Android APK above and wait for the download to finish.
  2. Open the downloaded Dr-Odds-1.4-Android.apk file from your browser’s Downloads or your Files app.
  3. If Android asks for permission, open Settings for that browser or file manager, choose Install unknown apps, and enable Allow from this source. Menu names can vary by device.
  4. Return to the downloaded file, tap Install, then Open. Keep Google Play Protect enabled and allow it to scan the file if prompted.
  5. Open Dr.odds and sign in with your account. After installation, you can turn off Allow from this source for the browser or file manager.

If Android security or a device policy blocks installation, use the web app below. You do not need to disable device protection to play in your browser.

About this test build & file verification

Version 1.4 is a debug-signed Android test build connected to Stage. It is provided for testing and is not a production or Google Play release.

For Android package updates, return to this page and download the newer APK when available. There is no automatic APK updater. If Android reports a signature conflict with a different Dr.odds build, use the web app instead of removing your existing installation.

Add the web app to your device

Start by opening the game below in your device’s browser. Install from the game website, then choose the instructions for your device. This introduction website is not the app you install.

  1. Open the game in Safari. If you arrived through Facebook, Instagram, or another app, open the link in Safari first.
  2. Tap Share. Depending on your Safari layout, you may need to open the Page Menu first, then choose Share.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, scroll through the actions and use Edit Actions to add it.
  4. Keep Open as Web App enabled if that option is shown. Name the app Dr Odds, then tap Add.
  5. Find Dr Odds on your Home Screen, open it, and sign in.

  1. Open the game in Safari, outside any social or messaging app’s built-in browser.
  2. Tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen. Tap More first if your layout shows it.
  3. Keep Open as Web App enabled if shown. Name the app Dr Odds and tap Add.
  4. Open Dr Odds from the Home Screen and sign in.

  1. Open the game in Chrome in a regular browsing tab.
  2. Open the More menu. Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Some versions show Install app or Add to home screen instead.
  3. Confirm the installation prompts and wait for the app icon to appear.
  4. Open Dr Odds from your Home Screen or app drawer, then sign in.

If your browser only offers a shortcut, it may open in a browser tab instead of a separate app window.

  1. Open the game in Chrome.
  2. Select the Install icon in the address bar. Alternatively, open the More menu, choose Cast, save, and share, then Install page as app.
  3. Confirm Install. Launch Dr Odds from your desktop or app launcher and sign in.

  2. Select the App available icon in the address bar. Or open Settings and more, then More tools, Apps, and Install this site as an app.
  3. Choose Install. Open Dr Odds from your apps, desktop, or Start menu and sign in.

  1. Open the game in Safari on a Mac running macOS Sonoma 14 or later.
  2. Choose File, then Add to Dock. You can also use Share, then Add to Dock.
  3. Name the app Dr Odds and choose Add. Launch it from your Dock or Applications folder, then sign in.

Using your app

Opening the app & signing in

Next time, open the Dr Odds icon on your device. Use your existing account; installing an app does not create one. Your browser and installed web app may keep separate sessions, so you may need to sign in again. Both download options on this page currently open the Stage test service.

Keeping the app up to date

Keep your browser and device software updated. The web app receives website updates when it reconnects. If an update is not visible, finish your current game, close the app, and reopen it while online. For the Android APK, download new package versions from this page when available.

Optional notifications

Notifications depend on your device, browser, and the features currently enabled in Dr.odds. If notification controls are available in the app, turn them on there and allow the system permission prompt. On iPhone and iPad, web notifications require the installed Home Screen app and iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later. You can change permissions in your browser or device settings.

Removing the app

On Android or iPhone/iPad, press and hold the app icon and use the device’s Remove or Uninstall option. On desktop, use the installed app’s menu or your system’s app settings; a Safari web app can be removed from Applications. Removing an app or shortcut does not delete your Dr.odds account or server-side data, though it may clear local sign-in and settings. Account and data requests are separate.

Need a hand installing?

If you cannot see an install or Add to Home Screen option, try these steps:

  • Make sure you have opened stage.dr-odds.com, rather than this introduction website.
  • Open the game directly in Safari on iPhone or iPad, or Chrome or Edge on other devices. Avoid the built-in browser inside Facebook, Instagram, or a messaging app.
  • Use a regular tab instead of private or incognito mode. Let the page finish loading, then check the browser menu.
  • Check whether Dr Odds is already installed, and update your browser and device software if needed.
  • A school, workplace, or other managed device may restrict installation. Android security settings can also block an APK.

You can still play by opening the game in a supported browser while online. Installing an app is optional.
